Smallest Computer

Smallest computer

Ya its right ,,the World Smallest Computer..
Its just like your normal computer and have a great portability.

Comptek has launched UMPC in India, claimed to be the smallest PC in world with all features of a tablet PC including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Web camera inbuilt. Weighing only 529 grams, the Wibrain Bl Ultra Mobile Computer is a small (approximately 7.5"x3.25"), Tablet PC with touch screen, mouse pad, 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 60 GB HDD, integrated stereo speakers, USB and 24 Pin connector for external monitor, battery backup and comes loaded with a version of Ubuntu Linux or Wmdows XP.

Long before there were iPod Nanos and laptops, in fact, long before before Bill Gates was even born, a British mathematician proved that it was possible to build computing machines that could be programmed to carry out any calculation that could ever arise. The mathematician was Alan Turing, and the theoretical device he invented in the 1930s is nowadays called a Turing machine. (There is not just one Turing machine; rather they are an entire class of hypothetical computing devices.
The computer built at Bletchley Park, like all computers since, is much more complicated than Turing's theoretical machine. In principle you could build a physical Turing machine, and in fact several people have done so, but they are not useful; it could take tens or hundreds of years to program them to carry out useful calculations, and for some problems even longer to find the answer. They may be simple, but they are not practical. Their importance is that they help us understand what computation is and how it works. (For instance, the security of your credit card number when you order something online depends crucially on mathematics involving Turing machines.)

The idea of building machines to do arithmetic (in particular) is almost as old as mathematics itself. The earliest attempts, such as piles of pebbles or the abacus, were not really carrying out the mathematical computation, they simply provided a convenient way to store numbers for the human operator who actually did the math. Blaise Pascal (1623 - 1662) was one of the first people to design and build a machine that really did carry out calculations, called the Pascaline. Charles Babbage (1791 - 1871) is another famous name in the history of designing calculating machines. But all of the early attempts focused on designing machines to perform particular calculations or particular kinds of calculations. No one thought of building a machine that could carry out any computation.

Part of the reason is that it was not until the 1930s that anyone had tried to specify precisely exactly what is meant by "a computation." Turing invented his "Turing machine" concept in order to provide a precise definition: a function from numbers to numbers (say) is declared to be "computable" if and only if it can be calculated by some Turing machine.

World Largest Virus Found

This Virus Does not Related to Computers pr Network but it related o our Body, Yes the Largest Virus of our Body has been Found be Careful of it.
MaktMin Larget Virus
A giant virus that lurks inside amoebas and may cause pneumonia in humans has been spotted by scientists.

"Mimivirus" is the biggest virus found so far, and was discovered in a sample taken from a water cooling tower in Bradford, UK, in 1992.
It has at least 900 genes, an enormous number for a virus, and its size is more like that of a bacterium.
It can be spotted through a good optical microscope - most viruses can only be visualised by electron microscopes.
In terms of DNA, it is approximately a fifth bigger than the virus previously considered to be the largest in the world.

No SARS link
Although it has been linked to pneumonia in humans, it is in no way related to the SARS virus currently sweeping the Far East.

A report about the discovery was published on Thursday in the journal Science.
Amoebas, large single-celled organisms, are commonly found in air-conditioning systems in large buildings, and often harbour various bacteria and viruses inside them, which can go on to infect people working in those buildings.
MaktMin Larget Virus
The researchers who examined Mimivirus, from the National Centre for Scientific Research in Paris, France, said that blood samples from people with pneumonia had revealed antibodies for this virus, suggesting that their immune systems had come into contact with it at some point.
They believe it is a virus because it lacks certain genes which are universal to bacteria - but contains others which are known to have key functions in viruses.
The virus, while it has some genetic similarities to the family of viruses that includes smallpox virus, has now been classed as the first of a completely new virus family, the Mimiviridae.

This post is just to ensure you all about the World Largest Virus

Biggest Dogs

Ya Friends ! This is real Images of the Dogs.
This images shows that the dogs are really helpful for the human beings.

Biggets Dogs

There have been a few different dogs that are either known for being the largest dogs or better yet, in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Zorba(Type of Dog)
Still holds the record in the world for being the largest and longest dog ever to be recorded..

World Largest Snake

Snakes the Most Wonder Of Life

Largest Snake
If you look in the records there is a lot of controversy over which snake holds the world's record for massive size. The dimensions that have earned the anaconda the title of king is its total body mass or its weight (the sheer physical bulk of it). The largest anaconda ever measured was almost 28 feet long with a girth of 44 inches. She wasn't weighed at the time she was caught, but scientists estimate that she must have weighed over 500 lbs. The other snake that competes with the anaconda is the Asiatic Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus). The python holds the world's record for length of a snake, with the longest ever measured at 33 feet. Even though the longest python is longer than the record-holding anaconda, the girth of the anaconda is far bigger. Anacondas in the jungles of South America can grow as big around as a grown man!

The Biggest Snake to Have Ever Lived
If you think that an anaconda big enough to swallow a capybara or tapir whole is big, you should see the size of the giant snake scientists discovered in a coal mine in Columbia, South America in 2008. Fossils of an enormous snake were discovered in an open coal mine in the Amazon rainforest. Paleontologists estimated the length of the snake to be 43 feet long and estimated to weigh 2,500 pounds! Based on their findings, the scientists who identified this new species of snake said it was large enough to prey on crocodiles. Since snakes are cold-blooded, the average temperature of the Amazon had to have been 6 to 8 degrees warmer to support a snake that enormous.
Killer Snake
Anacondas are members of the boa constrictor family of snakes. That means that they kill their prey by coiling their large, powerful bodies around their victims and squeezing until their prey suffocates or is crushed to death and dies from internal bleeding. Then the snake unhinges its jaw and swallows the victim whole. Anacondas are much more likely to eat aquatic creatures, such as fish. Occasionally, they have been known to eat: caimans (a relative of the alligator), other snakes, deer, and even jaguars. Anacondas are rather slow-moving snakes, so they have to rely on stealth and the element of surprise to catch their unsuspecting prey.
Do Anacondas Bite?
Just about every species of snake on earth has teeth, but the anacondas' teeth are not used for chewing. Snakes' teeth are used for holding onto their prey, preventing them from escaping. Some snakes have venom in two specially designed, extra long teeth (called fangs) which they use to kill their prey. Anacondas have teeth, but they are not a venomous snake. They rely on their enormous size and power to subdue their victims. It is possible to be bitten by an anaconda, but the bite itself would not be fatal.

Save tigers in our World ..........

Saving the tigers means saving the man kind.
Tigers are sad because people have killed many of their friends and relatives.Tigers are now on endangerd species: Today there are only about 5,000 to 7,400 tigers left in the world.
there are two reasons why tigers are endangered:
1>Habitat loss:
2>Illegal Killing:

Its on us to save the "Kudrati Den "
or someday like dinasources our children will see the tiger only on books ..
